The proceeds from this years event will support our projects in Vignier, Haiti, and Garissa, Kenya.
Come and be a part of changing the lives of these beautiful African and Haitian children. Come and meet little Julia and learn how her saved pennies impacted a small school in Garissa, Kenya, and the friendships that have been made with our African children there.
Join us for a lovely afternoon in the country, with live jazz musicians, tea sandwiches and homemade delicacies, and chocolate dipped strawberries for lunch. Tour the gardens, and shop at the silent auction tables.
EntertainmentOur jazz musicians bring a wealth of talent to our event. We're pleased to again feature Paul Grecco, renowned pianist, who has toured the USA with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, along with his friend and fellow musician Craig Paterson, of the Craig Paterson Group.
Both of these fine artists have been part of the Peterborough restaurant tour, and have played in various venues and jazz festivals, both locally and in the GTA.Silent AuctionThe auction opens at 1:45pm and always proves to be a fun time, with last minute bidding wars on our garden themed items.Best Hat ContestWear your best hat...there will be prizes!
This year's judges include local politicians and Julia herself.
"The blossom cannot tell what becomes of its odor; and no man can tell what becomes of his influence." Henry Ward Beecher (1813-1887)
