We are actively collecting winter clothing, household items, books and toys to be distributed to the children and families on the reserve at Christmas.
There are an estimated 1200 natives belonging to this Ojibway tribe, 900 of whom live on site. Of these 900, NATWIN reports that as many as 600 would be children.
Where Is Mish?
Mishkeegogamaang Ojibway Nation is located on beautiful Lake St. Joseph in northwestern Ontario, approximately 500 kms northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario, and approximately 30 kms south of Pickle Lake, Ontario.
