How exciting it was to learn that Our Canada magazine would be featuring my garden in their upcoming "How Does Your Garden Grow" April/May 2009 edition.
I was thrilled to learn that not only was my garden being featured, but they were also running a side-bar about our children's charity itself.

It's quite thrilling to be featured in a national magazine. Even more so, what an honour to have attention directed to our efforts of helping children in Africa who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS. Jim and I met some of these amazing orphaned school children during our first visit to Kenya in 2007.
Our Canada gave me a free one year gift subscription to the magazine, along with a copy of the issue our article was appearing in.
