Meet The Board

An Awesome Group of Volunteers

Meet the Board of Directors, who volunteer their time and talents to fulfill the vision of helping children around the world. The Julia Project Foundation would not be complete without them.

They bring a wealth of wisdom and knowledge to the table when we meet.

Their varied backgrounds in the business world, most as parents themselves, all with brilliant wit and humor and a strong sense of compassion and justice, keep us inspired and moving forward in our vision.

Adam Shebib, Vice President of Canadian children's charity,The Julia Project Foundation.

Adam Shebib, Vice President

Adam has four beautiful children with his wife Sara and loves spending time in the great outdoors. He loves being a Canadian and feels privileged to live in this amazing country, but also hopes to one day travel with his family to some of the places The Julia Project has affected.

Adam is honored to be able to help children in need and considers himself fortunate to both work with, and be a part of, The Julia Project. He is excited to see what the future holds for this organization.

Cheryl Armstrong, Secretary of our Canadian charity, The Julia Project Foundation.

Cheryl Armstrong, Secretary

Cheryl is a respected wife, mother, and soon to be grandmother. She is one of quiet strength with a strong sense of justice and love of missions, and works hard to see that compassion is extended to the less fortunate in society.

Cheryl enjoys renovating and decorating in her spare time.

She is optimistic of her involvement with the Julia Project and is a firm believer that one person can, in fact, make a difference.

Norm Brown, Treasurer of our Canadian charity, The Julia Project Foundation.

Norm Brown, Treasurer

Norm enjoyed his career as a Conservation Officer with the Ministry of Natural Resources before he retired. His obsession with all things outdoors finds him hunting, fishing, and recently even sailing as much as he can.

Norm's administrative background handling large budgets for the Ministry makes him the perfect Treasurer for The Julia Project.

He is the father of two grown married daughters. Together with his wife Janet, they make an awesome team who are ever ready to help.

Emily St. Pierre, Board Member Director, The Julia Project Foundation.

Emily St. Pierre, Director

Emily is the second oldest of four siblings and having grown up the daughter of two incredible children's pastors, her experience and love of children have, without a doubt, come naturally. Her heart continues to grow towards working with children in the future, and she dreams of one day going to Africa herself.

She also confesses to never wanting to grow up and believes she will always have an uncanny obsession with juice boxes.

Emily's heart is to see children in unfortunate situations and circumstances helped and brought to a better place.

Tammy Gibson, Marketing, board member of our Canadian children's charity, The Julia Project Fdn.

Tammy Gibson, Marketing

Tammy is a true hometown girl, having been born and raised in Peterborough, Ontario. She has worked locally for the print industry for the past 13 years and is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter.

She also shares her home with four of, what she believes to be, the worlds' best cats, Gizmo, BooBoo, Bella, and Honey.

Tammy hopes to help children around the world to have an overall better life.
