I've had fun posting all those new words formed by alerting one letter in the Mensa Invitational Contest. Here are some results from a similar contest. This time entrants were asked to submit alternate meanings for common words. Here's our first choice: "Coffee" - The person upon whom one coughs.

The Julia Project extends our resources and prayers to HIV/AIDS orphans in Kenya and Haiti, and assists hurting Aboriginal children in Northern Ontario. I found this quote, and thought it is so appropriate for what we do through our fundraising efforts and the giving through our generous donors. "Life ends when you stop Dreaming.

200 Pink Cupcakes

Yesterday, a small team of volunteers put the finishing touch on the cupcakes for our BBQ fundraiser this Saturday. 200 home baked cupcakes were iced in the most delightful pink icing and lovingly tucked away in safe storage. Pink fingers, warm smiles, and a great feeling of satisfaction at the end of the day, as we reflect on those beautiful Haitian school children.
